Amazon is not sheepish about collating its Kindle Fire with iPad. Amazon compared the Kindle Fire HD with iPad mini, and said that Kindle has 193 percent more pixels than iPad mini. Also its latest ad for Kindle Fire HD 8.9 inch is up against the iPad with Retina display. It tells that both offer “stunning HD” display “you may not be able to tell the difference,” It ended its ad by mentioned its price $299 compared to the $499 of the iPad with Retina Display. Now it also offers and additional $30 to $50 discount this week for the Kindle Fire HD. Its price is less that $250 less than an iPad 4.
Though the price might be attractive but its software is not is keeping it away from iPad and other tablets of its genres.
