Tim Cook COO of Apple, termed Android running tablets as “bizarre products” as they don’t offer the real tablet experience.
During Tuesday’s earning call, Apple COO (the man who took over day-to-day operations from Steve Jobs) made it clear that Apple doesn’t recognize Android – based tablets in the market as real competition. He called them as bizarre products and asserted that Apple has, “huge, first-mover advantage.”
Meanwhile, Apple has announced record break earnings, led by strong sales of iPad, iPhone and other products. Particularly, the iPad has registered sales of 7.3 million units. Apple launched iPad in April 2010 and it has sold more than 15 million units since then.
