Tomorrow its going to be a big day for Apple, as they are unveiling their 3G version of iPad. Apple made a statement on iPad 3G launch on April 20th besides many speculations on delay of iPad 3G and its going to be the expensive iPad which has 3G + Wi-Fi. The iPad 3G will be available on stores on the same days by 5:00 in the eve as reported by Apple. Those lucky customers who had pre-ordered iPad will be getting it on hand by 5:00 pm tomorrow. Customers those who ordered after April 19, will not be getting their iPad tomorrow and it won’t be delivered until May 7th.
On pricing and availability a press release by Apple says,
iPad is available in Wi-Fi models in the US for a suggested retail price of $499 for 16GB, $599 for 32GB and $699 for 64GB. The Wi-Fi + 3G models will be available on April 30 in the US for a suggested retail price of $629 for 16GB, $729 for 32GB and $829 for 64GB. iPad is sold in the US through the Apple Store® (www.apple.com), Apple’s retail stores, most Best Buy stores, select Apple Authorized Resellers and campus bookstores. AT&T is offering breakthrough 3G pre-paid data plans for iPad with easy, on-device activation and management.
The 3G version of iPad comes with GPS, so once it hits our hands, we would be bringing more updates on its functions. As of now, we need to wait for the launch and I hope it should be a worth of watching.
