Apple Shipping Estimates Down To 1-2 Weeks
News — By tessa on April 21, 2011 at 12:30 PMYet another good news for those waiting to get their iPad 2! The shipping estimates of the new generation iPads has come down to 1-2 weeks wait in the Apple website. Few days back the shipping estimate went all the way up to 4-5 weeks and then came down to 2-3 weeks because of Apple continuously working hard to meet the demands. Apple faced obstruction in production due to the devastating tsunami and earthquake that affected Japan. Apple made alternate arrangements and kept the flow of iPads into the market steady. Guess all the effort has paid off finally! Apple is now getting the hang of managing user demands.
The 1-2 week estimate has gone into play for Apple’s online stores in the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand. But Apple’s stores for European countries still show 2-3 week estimates. Apple does not have separate distribution systems for each region. So the users expect that the estimates to come down to the same figure. An updated report that was out later stated that the tech giant’s European stores also presented the same number of 1-2 weeks.
