Apple has just updated their terms of service for Game Center which lets users to play more efficiently with or against. This update enables the full name associated with your Apple ID when you send a friend request in the Game Center. Like Microsoft’s Xbox Live network, Game Center users can send friend requests, play multiplayer games with this recent update.
Regarding the new update Apple Says,
“We have changed the Game Center terms and conditions to provide you notice that if you send a friend invitation, the full name associated with your Apple ID will be shared with the recipient. If you accept a friend invitation, the full name associated with your Apple ID will be shared with the sender.”
It still holds the nick name and avatar in the Game center but an initial notification just tells about the name and id details. Hopefully this change would be for an integration among Apple’s social networking which leads the Games centers userbase to Ping.
