Apple announced its new subscription policy on Tuesday, which demands revenue share from the publishers. Developers reacted negatively to this new system of Apple.

Few hours back Apple has introduced a new subscription system for buying newspapers and magazines through the iPhone and iPad apps. According to this new system, Apple with get 30 percent of the revenue for all the content sales made through the iTunes store. This new system also applies to video and music services.
Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple said, “Our philosophy is simple—when Apple brings a new subscriber to the app, Apple earns a 30 percent share; when the publisher brings an existing or new subscriber to the app, the publisher keeps 100 percent and Apple earns nothing,” But developers around the world criticized Apple for being greedy.

Recently App Store created a controversy by rejecting Sony’s e-book reader app. Apple said that it violates the terms and conditions of Apple by making user to leave the app for buying a book.
