The recent developments clearly indicate the fact that iPad is going to reduce the need of the paper in the near future.

At first it was the state of Georgie, which has initiated the process of replacing the traditional textbooks with iPads. The state officials met Apple Computers and discussed them about getting iPad for $500. As it is easy to update the content, they consider it as an good idea.

Now NFL teams, including Dallas Cowboys, are planning to replace the print playbooks with iPads. This move can save about 5,000 pages of paper for each game. They are also considering Android tablets for this purpose as iPad has security threats. We should appreciate this, as it would help in saving the environment.
