Dealing with PDF files in mobile devices wouldn’t be an easy task. You can find a few apps, but they have very limited functionality and I don’t think it is wise to have five apps for this purpose. If you are facing a similar problem, read this review for a solution.
PDF PROvider is an iPad app developed by Dar-Soft, a famous company for its PDF apps such as WEB to PDF and PDF Printer. Dar-Soft has merged the benefits of these both apps into a single app – PDF PROvider. This app converts Word, Excel, PowerPoint, keynote files, HTML pages, photos and contacts into PDF and it can also let users merge documents into PDF files on the iPad. The converted pages can be opened in iBooks for reading and can also be sent by email, opened in other apps and even transferred to computers.
Users don’t need to launch this app every time they want to view a PDF file. PDF PROvider will be added to “Open in…” list for popular file types, so things can be done in a few taps. This app can also merge documents of all supported formats (including PDF). Therefore, users can send various files as a single PDF document. There is a special Merge dialog that facilitates them to define the documents sequence in the output PDF file. The web pages can also be converted and saved in PDF to let users view the them even when they go offline.
This app is compatible with the iPads running iOS 4.2 or later (including iOS 5). It costs US $6.99. The price is slightly on the higher side, but PDF PROvider would be a handy tool for you, if you need to deal with PDF files on the go. This app is not bulky (3.5 MB), so it is easy to download and it loads fast.
