It is good to see developers coming up with interesting concepts for puzzle games. I have this leaning towards puzzles as they help users kill time while letting them storm their brain. Let me review an interesting iPad puzzle today.
miQube 3D is an amazing puzzle, that was designed based on the popular miQube game. After launching this app, it offers four options in the home screen – Play, Settings, Help and Tutorial. Users can explore the puzzle by entering into ‘Play’. There are six levels and the game will get complex as the users progress through each level. Moreover, there would also be time limits.
The objective of miQube 3D is to fit certain pieces together on a grid so that they look like the board in the sample grid after the completion. Users can find a few cubes that are joined together to make shapes. It has 13 sets of shapes in 6 different colors. They need to place these shapes side by side or on top of each other to match that of the sample grid.
The trick is users cannot see these shapes from the top, but could get only the side view. Therefore, they need to use their spatial understanding to emerge successful in this game. This app has easy to understand concept and intuitive game controls. However, if the users find it difficult, they can avail the step by step guidance from the “Tutorial”.
miQube was launched only a couple of weeks ago and this first version runs without any hiccups or bugs. This app is compatible with iPads running iOS 3.2 or later. It is available for a special introductory price US $0.99. There is also a Lite version available for free. Therefore you can give miQube 3D a try without spending a penny.
